For us, classic engineering methods as well as "design thinking" and "human-centred design" are useful tools. After concepts and sketches, both virtual and real prototypes are important in order to validate functionality and interaction.

With our manufacturing capabilities in 3D printing, machining and mechatronics, we can also produce samples of complex systems.

Our clean room is available for micromechanics and micro-optics.

In our other laboratories, we carry out mechanical and thermal tests, evaluate systems under lighting technology parameters and also research human-machine interaction with our test vehicles in real traffic areas.
This enables us to accompany and research product development processes together with our partners from research and industry from the initial idea to the verified prototype.
