Lukas Hoppe is the new doctor at the IPeG!

New doctorate at the IPeG!

Our colleague Lukas Hoppe has successfully completed his dissertation on ‘Tutorial learning support in design engineering through knowledge-based design systems’.

In his dissertation, Mr Hoppe presents an intelligent tutoring system that provides digital support for design teaching. Through personalised learning paths and adaptive content, the system offers a solution that takes into account students' heterogeneous prior knowledge and offers the possibility of individual teaching support. The support for students was implemented in the form of a website that accompanies both design theory and design projects.
